Unhappy Repairable or totaled?

Some old lady cut me off going 30 on the highway, was a light rain shower so I spun around her and after all the spins I ended going head-on to the jersey barrier. I hoped out and wanted to cry after I seen my car, but the tow guy said its all cosmetics. My dad is a mustang guy also and says it can be fixed. I need a headlight panel, bumper cover, both fenders, headlight, and new hood. I found everything online its its ~500-600 for all body parts. The radiator mounts are all in check. The only thing that scares me is there is a gap between where one fender meets the door. & Only 87.xxx miles

Also, if you think it is totaled. How much do you think I would be able to sell it for as is?

Take the bumper off and the fenders off and pop us a few more pics, fenders and body panels can be replaced, we need to see the frame.

If its all body damage and the frame is fine then I'd say fix it. Those parts can be had cheap at a local pick and pull or u-wrench it type junkyards.

Did the airbags deploy?

You need to get that bumper cover and fenders off to get a look at the inner supports

Also anything is repairable, it just depends whether or not you want to do all the work. If I had gone through insurance they would have totaled my Gt. But with me doing alot of the work and finding parts my repair is going to be less than $1000.

This is what mine was like.

Yes the driver and passenger side bags deployed. & Will do, looks like the bumper will come off fairly easy. I can probably flick it off haha. Gives me something to do tomorrow, thanks fella's I'll get those pics asap. & Ouff @1Slow67 that picture makes me sad lol. Also, My hood latch got tweaked and I can't open my hood, is there anyway to take my bumper cover off without opening my hood?

At this point, most of what's right up front is destined for the recycler, so I recommend a sawzall(?)

That was my car and it totaled just over $9000 in repairs. Now granted mine is a newer car with no frame damage or air bag deployment, but it was just short of being totaled.

The insurance companies only repair a car if the repairs are less than 2/3 the cars value, if the repairs exceed 2/3 then the car is totaled.

So with that taken into consideration will your repairs exceed 2/3 the value. Remember, if repaired the car will hold little to no value because it will have a front end accident perminatly on the title and car fax history. The big factor will be rather or not the frame itself is bent, if it is bent then the car should be considered trashed. If it's good and it's just the panels that's bad then it's up to you if you wanna fix the car.

Ouch, my airbags didn't deploy and I was doing about 30. If you go through insurance they would probably total it because of the air bags.

Insurance totaled my friends cobra because of the air bags. He even did less damage than I did.

I unfortunately only had liability, and I was going to put on full the same weekend,
& Oh yeah I want to repair it, I have a guy that works for a Ford dealership and he does body work on the side, but his wife recently died so he's taking a little time off. This car was really taken care of, but on the carfax it said it was already in a accident, I noticed afterward when I seen I had two different doors (Same Color, Different Trim). This thing was(is) my baby, I treated it better than any of my girlfriends lol.
I just gotta check for frame damage, if there is I'll sell it to a salvage site. I seen mustangs in worse wrecks than this going for 750$.
