rpm problem
I have an '01 with a 3.8L. Recently, I have noticed that when I push in the clutch to change gears and release the throttle, the rpm's will increase 500 to 1000 rpm. So far, at the direction of several mechanics and a couple auto parts dealers, I have cleaned the carbon built up in the throttle body, changed out both the throttle position sensor and idle air control valve. The throttle cable seems to be working as it should. I am at my wits end trying to figure this out. Can someone please help me out here? what else can I try or test before I need to spend several hundred dollars more at a shop?
