Default electrical issue

i was wondering if any of the your guys have had this problem. I was driving down the highway a few days ago , when the car seem to act like it was going to die and the all the lights in the bezel went off, and the radio cuts on and off every once in a while. i exited off the highway and it kept acting like it was losing power. i stopped the car and parked , killed it and turned it back on no problems. then yesterday took it to work and when i went to go home afterwards battery was dead( new Battery). thought it was the alternator, so disconnected the negative battery terminal , but car still ran. if any of you guys have any clue please , im in need of some help.

Check all your grounds and have the battery tested, have the alt tested as well, sounds like your alt is fine but can't hurt since its free.

Check the ground which ends near the passenger side motor mount. Look at the positive connection at the fuse box under the hood.

thank you guys for the info I will do these things. I was just wondering because I as I recall these things haven't been happening until I put on the cold air intake. maybe just a coincidence.
