Exclamation Upper Radiator Hose keeps blowing!

Info: 1999 Mustang V6 3.8L

Hey everyone, it's been a while since i've been on here. I've come across a problem that I hope is an easy fix...

And by "blowing" i mean like tearing the hose, like using a knife and making a 2 inch incision, allowing coolant to splash all over

4 days ago, my upper radiator hose blew; I replaced it. Today it blew again! Since then, my car hasn't been running hot. Also, I've noticed that the coolant doesn't run back into the (container where u pour it into?/overflow container?).. Like maybe there's a leak or something? I don't know what to do. I've read that there's possibly air bubbles in my system? Could the air bubbles be caused by me not bleeding the system when I replaced it? would air bubbles cause my hose to blow like this?

This is the worst possible timing, I could use some help fellas !

Thankssssss

Well... found some sludge which was kind of rubbery under my rad cap. I've since replaced the rad cap and checked the overfill hose (that goes from just under the rad cap to the bottom of the coolant reservoir) for any blockages. There is none.

Looks like you've got oil running into your coolant. Check your intake manifold gaskets, replace if necessary and then give your cooling system a flush.

You need to do a pressure test on your cooling system. I agree with Musicbox that it looks like oil and/or combustion gases mixing with your coolant. That would over pressurize your system and pop hoses and seals.

Any smoke on startup?

I had the same "sludge" appear on my cap a few days before I blew the head gasket.

Crank the car, rev it up to about 3k and immediately shut the car off. then pull your plugs and using a q-tip check for coolant in your cylinders.

You've clearly got a blown head gasket and it sounds like its pretty far gone so I wouldn't run it any more then a short trip to the mechanic.
FYI, if the temp sensor isn't in coolant you won't get a proper reading, it will show as still cold. Always listen to the engine instead. If its pinging bad and no power you're overheating and about to cause major damage beyond the gasket replacement.
