Default should i do it?

found a 2003 VERT for about 6k...talking bout trading in my 98 v6 and paying 5k on top for the silver 2003 vert with 127k milage....sound good?

i want it because i had a 2003 v6 few years ago and it was wayyy faster than my 98 v6....also because I ALWAYS WANTED A CONVERTABLE!!!!

do u think v6 convertable stangs are chick cars? well jofthrones taught me not to care what others think!! :P but do u guys think they are chick cars?

what should i do? i talked to the dealer and everyone kept presuring me like, "so u ready to take this home??" and then i just left saying no not at this price," cuz i had to go home, but now im kinda thinking maybe i will get it and make monthly payments.....did i burn my bridges by saying "no not at this price" if i go back will the dealer laugh at me or will he work with me?

hmm - we bought our 2000 Convertible for $4,200 with no trade - a fully loaded 03 is about $8k on KBB.com - so they're giving you $3k for your car?

seems like a decent deal to me - see if they would take $7k for it

That car is not worth anything close to what a book says it is in today's market.
It's over priced. Might be worth $4K depending on condition.

If you want the most out of your car, sell it outright and use that money towards a new car.

Not bashing the 2003 v6 convert but it's not worth it, especially with that mileage... And I don't think it's a chick car, IMO

eventually when you're ready financially you can sell your car outright as stated before and take the money for a 99+ gt convert. Or hell, even a 94-98 cobra if you could swing it. You would love the power upgrade and reliability of the gt's or cobra's.
