Default A/C from ice cold to none

So, the A/C went from ice cold to almost none, and then shortly thereafter, the serpentine belt broke.

Replaced the belt, no problem.

The A/C, however, isn't working but just for a short while.

With the engine off, I get the low side pressure practically pinning the needle at max on the gauge while the high side is at about 140.

With the engine running, and the A/C running, I get this

And the clutch on the compressor goes on/off, the outer part of the compressor starts/stops and/or turns slowly...

Color of the oil (viewfinder in picture) is yellow.. is that normal?

Thoughts? Bad compressor? Bad valve somewhere?

Thanks.

Any thoughts?

When running at first, the compressor cuts on and off, every 10 seconds or so... one time, though, as the clutch was engaging again, I actually saw sparks fly!

Bad compressor?

Yeah, sounds like the compressor clutch is bad. Its probably giving a squealing noise as the belt slips overtop of it. After a while you’ll break another belt. If your handy with tools, you can replace just the clutch without having to touch the A/C lines. Otherwise, replace the entire compressor and have the A/C refilled etc. Good luck...
