Default QUESTION???

Now to my car....I have true dual exhaust, no H or X pipe with flow 40's. I noticed the difference in power and a deeper sound after I put it on. Yesterday I put on a new crank pulley, and while I notice the difference in power my exhaust no longer sounds as deep and loud as it did before. Did I miss something, or is there something else I can do with the pulleys to correct this? I was really disappointed with it. Let me know what y'all think.

Now that is strange. When I added the pulleys, I noticed a nice diference in power, but the exhaust didn't change. BUT, after the Diablo tune the exhaust sounded deeper..NICER. I am at a loss with your situation.

When I punched the gas before the pulley it was a deep growl, now when I punch it it is more of a low, kind of muffled growl....Like You im at a loss. No suggestions to correct this?

The only thing I can think of, is to get the DaibloSport Tuner, and retune it.

Edit...
I have a sound clip in the Sound Clip Gallery here. Might want to check it out.

Now I just put on the crank pulley. Do you think getting a water pump and ALT pulley would help with that? How much is a tuner?

The other pulleys shouldn't matter. And the tuner is $400.00...well, $399.00. Close enough.

Don't get me wrong, it still sounds good, but just not the same as before. I'll have to add that to my mod list. Know a webiste I can get one and check it out?

Not sure if AutoBadges has or can get it., If he can, he's your best bet. We do get discounts from him. Otherwise, www.rpmoutlet.com or even www.diablosport.com

The extra pullies will not to ANYTHING for your sound.

The ONLY thing I can think of is that the crank speed picked up so its not so hard of a JOLT that it gives for the crank to turn HARDER b/c its already spinning faster with the pulley being smaller. Shouldn't have changed it that much...but what you are doing is freeing up hp ...which is always great
