hello fellow mustang owners,
I have a 2001 3.8 v-6 mustang running rough misfires and have smell of rotton eggs when hot. i looked at converters when hot didnt seem to be glowing .plugs were changed wires look fine. i am not getting a engine light or codes from computer any suggestions on where to start?

did you fill up lately and get some bad gas?
last time fuel filter was changed?
usually the rotten egg smell is the cats going out.

 

Cats don't ALWAYS glow when going bad, try unbolting the cats from the manifolds and see how it runs, it will be loud as hell but will tell you if the cats are clogging.
