So I am a novice at working on cars. But my 2000 Mustang has helped me. I have fixed both Manifolds, EGR, MAF, DPFE, put in a new Air Intake, replaced the ball joints, struts and shocks, an Upper Control Arm, and am still going. Don't get me wrong, I love my Stang but I need some advice on a few things.

How hard is it to change the drivers side window motor? It will try to go to the center of the earth if you let it. Also, it hangs above the weather stripping. Is it also difficult to change the bearings and seals? I am a weakling so any advice is better than nothing.

On a more serious note, it feels like my rear end wants to come around when I drive. I can hear a knock sometimes but I can't find it when I look under the car. Also, if you push the car from side to side, it squeaks. I don't think it has to deal with the gears as it does it in and out of gear.

Lastly, I feel like I am having a blonde moment but my rear tires are balding on the insides. An alignment should solve it but how are they able to change the camber angle on the rear end?

Your rear tires should wear evenly. Its a solid straight axel. If you are getting inner tread wear from the rear that points to a bent axel. There is no adjustment to the rear end for alignment.

Knock could be worn suspension components. You say you are about to replace them anyhow.

Which bearings and seals are you referring to?

 

Is it possible that it is the bearing in the axle causing the tires to wear? Or the upper control arms are bushings are failing?

And I was going to change the bearings and seals on all four tires.
