Looking to install a remote start to the ole girl.

1. ? about needing a bypass module
2. I can't seem to find an answer whether you need one
3. I am guessing you need a programmed key under the dash?

I have installed the remote starters BUT not needing a bypass orwhat not.Any advice?

I am looking to install the Compustar CS700 or 800

Looks like you need a bypass module that houses a programmed key...Now to see if the designtech 20942 bypass module is compatible with the compustar unit I am looking at.
