DEFINATLY. From personal experience, it's tha BOMB! And if you're going for gears, they shouldn't charge much more for labor since they are gonna have to take the dif apart anyway.

So what would be better 3.73's or 4.10's?

Generally, it's like this. Manual's 3.73's. Auto's 4.10's. But again, it's up to you. But I do HIGHLY recommend the T-Lok either way you go.

It has to do with the transmission gear ratios. Not sure exactly what it is, but I think it's cus the manual has a higher ratio.

Yea gears are a good first mod to go with. Now I'll give you some shopping advice to help you get the best deal possible. Go to msn.com, then select on the autos area. Select Ford, then mustang. Pick any year, then scroll down to the bottom and look up the listings in your area by typing in your zip code. It will give you most of the used mustang listings for your area, you can do an advanced search to look up a specific year, widen your range, or set price caps. Go check them out.

Or better yet. Use our sponsors. I looked for gears and a T-lok for weeks. Then I asked AutoBadges. He sent me to www.stangsuspension.com . They had the best prices I found. $199.00 for the gears, and $199.00 for the T-lok. AND if you use the discount code 38STANG, you get 5% off.

Edit...
Don't forget the friction modifier, also at stangsuspension, and the Royal Purple dif fluid!
