Change your oil!
i check my mpg last week, because i thought something was up. i was getting 15 MPG!!!!! so i tooled over to the store and bought some oil and a filter, changed that stuff and got some injector cleaner. i also cleaned my maf sensor. BIG DIFFERENCE. i jumped back up to 21mpg city in ORLANDO! what was weird was that my car's last oil change was from ford, and i changed it after 2500 miles or so and it was o sooo nasty!

I have no clue why you guys are getting such s**ty milage. Even after 4.10's, I'm getting around 23mpg. I do regular oil changes, and use Mobile1 and a Fram filter. I've already changed coolant and tranny fluid. I have 45k on my Stang.

I have almost 16,000 miles on mine. I get like 18mpg. After I got my exhaust it went up a bit. I do oil changes every 3,000 =/- 250. I used to use regular oil, I just put in some Valvoline SynPower. Let's see if that helps. I have to have a lead foot or my throttle never really opens...d@mn autos.[:@]
i read somewhere that carb cleaner would clean the sensor really well. so i bought the cheap **** and sprayed it down. i have a cai so it was easy to get right to the sensor. i wiped off the excess and let it dry before fitting it back into place. i just wish i had done that when i installed the cai
