Default Removing Decals

I have aftermarket racing stripes that I want to remove. Process looks very simple. Worried about whether there will be any adhesive residue left or stains on the car after removal. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Your biggest problem will be the paint under the stripes will look new compared to the rest of the car.

When I removed the stripes from my car I used an eraser tool from 3m attacked to a drill and it came off fine without leaving any stick residue. The only problem with using the eraser is that if you push too hard or if the eraser is spinning too fast it can easily peal off paint. Slow and steady is the trick.

Here's a link to what I used. You can find them cheaper if you look around https://www.ebay.com/itm/151455490627

Also, if you do have sticky residue left over, goo-gone can easily take care of it without harming the paint.

You will most likely end up with some nice ghost stripes.
