I'm looking to buy a first car and found a 2000 V6 with 130k on it selling for $1300. Going to go test drive next week. Is there anything I should be looking out for? Does that sound like a reasonable price if there are no issues? I only really need it to last me a year or so through high school, so do you guys think its gonna last me that long without a lot of mechanical work?

 

If its in good shape thats a great price.

 

Hopefully the most major thing that it might need soon is maybe ball-joints, I think. Ask about its service history and be prepared to do some minor maintenance just in case it needs a brake job or tune-up.
