My fuel pump went out on my 01 v6 before dropping the tank to take out the pump I went to disconnect my fuel filter and noticed that the nipple on the left side was bent inward I know when I changed it earlier I. The year it wasn't bent at all I was just curios to know if someone can tell me how this happened and if it caused the fur pump to go out.
