i'd take 4.10s over 3.73s for any centrifugal supercharger any day. if you were going with a roots or twin screw, i'd get 3.55 or 3.73.

oh.. and vortech or bust. then again i've only had a vortech so of course that's what i'm recommending. the vortech makes just as much, if not more power than an intercooled procharger. at least for a GT anyway.

procharger. but that is all i have had

vortech needs an oil line to be tapped into the pan. not a good idea to do while on the car as shavings can get into the oil and possibly cause bearing damage. plus the hot engine oil running through the blower makes it hotter than a procharger. vortech's are very reliable though as are the newer prochargers from about 6yrs ago and newer.

vortech with an intercooler would be good. i just don't like the idea of tapping the pan to run an oil line but you have to do that with a turbo too and the turbo would be better than any blower on the stang

there is a custom Powerdyne kit made by Pete of ford chip i believe and they make nice quiet power

put it this way each company makes a good setup now. you really can't go wrong with either.

4.10's are alright with a blower but i didn't like them. others like them. they would be perfect for a fully ported and heavy cammed blown stang

if metal shaving do get in the oil pan they will just get caught in the filter. and as for the hot engine oil, i think there is a thing called an oil cooler, had one on my Supra before the turbo, 19*C cooler than without it. i am sure it can work for a vortech.

hah. go google powerdyne reviews. you'll see how good powerdyne superchargers really are.

i believe that they dont make 3.55s for the 7.5 inch rear end, you need 3.45s or 3.73s

is the vortech centrifical?
