What kind of sound do borla exhausts make. I want a deep tone. Can you give me a site were i could find one and listen to them.

 

on a 6, the deepest you can get without it sounding like crap are flowmaster 40s. majority of the 6ers in here will tell you the same.

 

Yessirrr! Borla's are "tight butthole" sound, IMO. So if you don't have a big engine, your not gonna get the deep sound you want. Plus, they cost a shatload. Best bet like nanaki said, Flowmaster 40's. OR you could check out pypesexhaust.com, they have a full header-back setup for a good price.

 

flowmaster 40's are just the mufflers right. I want a complete setup from headers back. Does flowmaster make a setup like that. Does anyone know there website.

 

I've only seen cat-back's from flowmaster for the V6, but if you go to pypesexhaust.com they have a full system. It is not flowmaster persay, but it is VERY similar...a knockoff. The mufflers have lifetime warranty, too.

 

the pypes exhaust with the violator mufflers sound good and are real deep. and the kit costs less than the flowmaster kit.

 

I havn't heard the violators, they're pretty new I think, but I have the Pro-V's. The quality is good too.

 

all i know is that the only v6's that have impressed me with their sound had flowcrapster 40's

 

aren't pro-Vs pretty much the same thing as flows?

 

On my v6 wear do i put the muffler? I just purchased flowmaster super 40's for my model mustang.
