Default Fuel Injector options...

Hi! Old Wrench here, but new to the Forum...
I was looking into some simple mods for my 02 3.8. One being Injectors.

I'm getting the upper and lower Intake Honed, and getting a 65mm TB. Contemplating on a Cam...
KEEPING the stock PCM, could I get a 21lb or 24lb Injector to work? As I'm sure most of you know, stock these things run out of poop before 5000rpm.

I'm not building a "Racecar" just want more solid Street Performance, without killing Driveability. I'm a relative N00b to Tuning, which leaves me at a disadvantage. Carbs I KNOW. But EFI mods... Not as much.

Stock injectors are fine for the mods you’re doing. Unless you’re adding nitrous, forced induction or, building the crap out of the block, you won’t be sucking in enough air to exceed the stock injectors flow.

EXCELLENT useful link!! Thanks. At my most optimistic, I might make between 230-240hp, which is well within the range of the 22lb Injectors.
..... I actually thought they were 19lb. I appreciate the info!
