Throttle Body mix up

I had my uncle put the bolt and nut setup on the cable awhile back since the gas pedal had a lot of play in it and would move back and forth and also sit close to the firewall. This may be the issue since it’s held pretty tight now and the gas and brake pedal are nearly even with each other.

Well, it obviously fits.....
What I don't recall is if any tuning is required if you swap the 3.8L to a 4.2L throttle body.
If the problems just started recently, then I'd say the Throttle Body is/was fine. Depending on the issue, it could need a MAF cleaning, and Idle Air Control cleaning or replacement ,etc. In other words, the part itself is not to blame unless it, or a related item has failed.

I have the same problem but I put the computer. And the codes it give me P1401 and P1518. Should I be worried. And should I do the same thing?
