Default Lower shift boot replacement

I have a 97 V-6 with a 5-speed and I bought a replacement lower shift boot (the one that attaches directly to the transmission). My question is this: is it as easy to replace as it appears? It looks like I would simply remove the 4 bolts, remove the old shift boot metal plate, install the new one and re-tighten the 4 bolts.
Thanks.
