Default Security issue

I got a 98 mustang v6 with a no start due to the security issue. Now I've dealt with 90s car security issues before but I'm sure every car is different when it comes to fixing them. Last time I dealt with something like this was on a jeep basically I just grounded the security wire in the jeep and it was fine. Now on this mustang I don't know if that would work or if it's something like a fuse, or something not allowing the security to disarm. On my jeep I was able to get it started and then just rip out the whole security module. For the mustang I Got a new key from Ford and they said they can't do anything with it. So anyone else have this issue? Does anyone have any ideas of what I should look for? Honestly it seems to be a good car and would be great for what I have in mind for it which honestly is to daily it and eventually trade it for a pt cruiser intake got my eyes on anyway thanks for the help
