Default Hurst Shifter

Does anyone here have a Hurst shifter? I was wondering if they're worth $180, and how much better they really are than the stock shifter. I know that it makes you shift faster, but does it really help at all? Thanks.

Default RE: Hurst Shifter

buy a shifter of ebay from this guy who owns a warehouse in plantation FL, I forgot his user name. anyway he sells shifters that are basically the same exact thing as the pro 5.0 and triax shifters for $50- which comes to 80 all together. shifters reduce the throw, reduce vibration in the handle, and give you a smoother shift feeling. the only thing that literally gives you better shifts is a clutch kit, release qudrant and new cables.
