well, i have to park the vert for a while. One night from work, a guy in a 84 or so 5.0 pulled up beside me. I could tell what was going to happen next, i revved to about 4000 and held it for a few seconds then let off, letting him hear my BOV. When the light turned green, i punched it,being punched back into the seat.Second gear was just as good, untill about 3500, i heard a pinging sound,then all hell broke loose. I heard a bang, smoke everywhere. so this little inscident now lets me use my rebuilt turbo motor.Im just wondering what kind of horsepower i will be looking at. Stock 87 2.3 turbocoupe motor with stock boost IHI turbocharger off a manual tbird if that makes a difference. I will be customfitting a DOHC volvo head it with a volvo intercooler. What do you thing i could push out? thanx

 

i dunno but i hear the volvo head is more workthan its worth...just good on the cool factor

 

the stock '87 turbo coupe puts out 190hp at the flywheel
