Default Car Cover Problem

I just purchased a Noah cover for my 2004 V6 Competition Orange vert. Paid almost $200. After the cover was on for two weeks, I noticed this morning a hole at the left rear of the cover. Upon closer inspection, it looks like the cover ripped on the tailpipe. We had a little wind last night, but not enough to cause the cover to rip. Anyone have this type of experience before? I'd rather not mention the vendor because I'm not sure how they are going to handle this, but I'm pretty ticked off about this...it's only going to get worse, and once the weather gets really bad I have no confidence that the cover will hold up. And I haven't driven the car for weeks, so it's not like the tailpipe was hot and burned a hole in the cover. Thanks for any thoughts/advice.

do a test, leave the end that was ripped in the front, and see what happens to the back, if it ripps or burns than its most likely what you said....
