Default engine rebuild

My mustang is getting around 90,000 miles and i plan on getting ported heads and intake and new cam, and some other mods. I was plannning on having my engine rebuilt too. Any one know where a good place to buy a rebuilt kit at and how much it would cost me for labor. thanks

Crap, there was a post made about a month ago that had a link to a rebuilt engine site and I forgot where it is, search throughout the forums and look for it, it may be more than a month old though. Also, shops charge about $55-$80 an hour and your looking at at least 6 hours of work for a pro, so its not going to be cheap, but your new engine will be so worth it, and your cars resell value will jump up nicely to.

go to www.40bob.com and www.powerheads.com/23turbo. 40bob has a fully ported intake and 65mm throttle body. powerheads has a pretty sweet ported and polished head with a hydrolic roller turbo cam setup. thats if you have a 2.3L motor! if not sorry then.

have your heads flowed on a flow bench then you will be able to see the lift points that flow the most air and get a cam to match that is the MOST importent thing you can do and one of the easiest way to get more power talk to the machinest about doing a valve job and getting bigger valves more air=more power
