i have an 88 mustang convertible that needs some work but i found a 4 cyl mustang with t- tops on ebay would it be possible to drop my 5.0 into the 4 cyl and how much work would it be

its not all that much work bout the same plus i dont think you need to change the harness and the mototr mounts line up but if you wanna build something get a notch back mor structure

Yes, but you will have to do a lot of secondary work, the motor will bolt right in but you will have to change out to GT shocks, get an 8" rear end installed, probably will have to get a GT type driveshat, although I'm not sure on that one, install a GT speedo, install a GT ecu, and probably several other things that I can't think of.

Yea you can, just hope you have all the tools you'll need to do all of the work, like a lift and several other key items would help.
