Today on my way home from work I floored it, like I so often do, and for some strange reason my car took off like CWAZY! Like somewhere it just got some kind of boost or something...just thought I'd share with ya'll.

I just smoked some nissan that had a massive fart muffler and was trying to be loud and floor it when he could...got a straight away and in my 3rd gear (not even 2nd) I ATE HIM UP!!!!!! I even slowed down to 20mph to let him catch up and messs him up again....guess he want about 15mph bc he didn't catch up [8D]

 

nice, gotta love 2nd gear though Wonder why all of a sudden had more power than usual, though?

 

Perhaps you got it when it had the powerband at its best, best tq band as well....good temperate...lots of things could help

 

Could be weather..cooler air is denser and makes things work better....NM is a hot state usually...

did you have O/D off, that gives you a little more power, where did the car shift, might have been just luck because you were just right in the powerband
