Default Timing Chain

Hi Guys I would just wanna find out if theres a way to remove the timing chain cover without having to drop the oil-pan? is there a way to get to the oil pump pick-up just by lowering the oil-pan like what you could do with a v8 4.6L engine Thanks in advance
