Default 05+ V6 question

Ok, seriously, how much "better" are the 05+ v6's? They have 17 more horses stock for stock, right? But they look A LOT heavier IMO. So are they and do they really have that much on 99-04's?

They look good, and do have a LITTLE more power. But I HATE the throttle by wire system. On a rental I had, it was like press the accelerator, and WAIT!

Nope. We have accelerator cables. They have a sensor under the pedal...The one I rented, when you pressed the accelerator pedal, there was like a 1-1.5 second wait time til it did anything. I understand that is a problem Ford is either working out, or has worked out. I like a good old fashioned cable connection.

Not sure. Brad Barret hasn't updated with tech data on the 05-06 yet.
