well some interest was expressed. Maybe a whole 5 or 6. On this forum there is a regional area and I think for the first time around we could do this as a regional event. See how it goes. See if we can build on it or blow it off. Something that won't put folks in a bind with weekend travel, gas, food or accomidations. A weekend being (Friday-Sunday).
There are six regions. NE, West, South, Southwest, Midwest, and Central. The South region has the most states (14) and the SW region has the fewest (4). We can divide the South into South and South Central and all regions would have about an equal representation of states.
Ideas:
Two organizers per region (more if necessary)
One central meeting place (registration or check in).
One main hotel (maybe discounted).
A scenic drive and lunch.
Maybe a car contest in the afternoon
See if there are any other mustang clubs in the areas (http://www.mustang.org/)
Check out Sunday morning.
Event T-shirt
Door Prizes (maybe from local MFsponsors, sponsors or vendors in the area)

If no one is interested, I'll stop now.

See that would be hard for me to make it if its on the west coast. I live in south florida.............so we would have to make it reginal and maybe one week out of the year we can pick one place and have everybody meet up at.......we would just have to pick a date far enough to were we can make plans for it save some money up ya know. we could make a event out of it.....give away some prizes race whatever...would be tons of fun

I agree. I would be hard for me to make it if it were a one time event in New York. But if we keep it simple and make it regional it could work out to be fun and we could build on it. Have seven regions and keep it centralized within that region. None with no more than a day's drive or less.

too bad we can't broadcast to the other stickies. Right now it is only on the V6 sticky.
I think I'll take the SW Region - NM, AZ, OK, TX.
Anyone else want to give it a try?
