another ?
This Summer i me and my uncle a super stock racer and Super 6 SW are going to take the 3.8 out this summer and juice it up, now i know some of the basics i want
1. aluminum heads
2. New Juicy'er cam
3. New Roller rockers
4. new lifters
5. new fuel system(42lb injectors)
( i plan on going 11psi boost on a Procharger when i get funds)
What am i missing that i could put on the motor for more HP, dont say put A 4.6 in it either, i like the 4-500 weight difference
(on the whole car of course)
and i already have gears 4.10 on a auto, i want some motor parts.

put some port and polished intake manifolds on it...cut the EGR...bigger throttle body with matching ported upper intake manifold...tuner could do some good with all those mods...advance timing...you can do so much more....just ask the right people
mustang man, whats the average cost on the 4.6, the 4.2? what #'s we talkin here, as far as power goes?
Edit: and the procharger kit comes with all that stuff i think exept the tuner (in reply to that second reply)
Edit2: nevermind just comes with injectors/fuel pump

supersixmotorsports has a 4.3, which is the easiest to make out of it. You need the manifold from a late 90s windstar van, a crank out of an F-150, and some other stuff.

sounds nice ill work on those parts ASAP, but instead of nitrous i plan on a Vortech Supercharger and Alchohol Injection to put me in 10's, thanks for your help, hehe im kinda glad that stupid chick wrecked into my 06 charger, now i can play without warrenty intervention
4.6L Morana stroker kit is not boost friendly
4.4L is considered max for poweradder applications
just a 4.2L F-150 engine is a fine starting point. you don't need a Windstar upper and it won't fit under a stock hood anyways
my choice is a Turbo Kit from www.tmaturbo.com or an 11 psi procharger pullied for 18 psi and a Snow Performance water/methanol injection kit for either turbo or procharger
check out www.rpm-mustangs.com they have great customer service and a nice 4.2L kit. their BV heads are great and their cams are awsome. 1.8 adj harland sharp rockers are great and go with Eagle H-beam rods with 8.5:1 compression Ross pistons
the 7.5 is OK when a Detroit Locker,Truetrac<or Auburn Pro Series is put in place of a T-lok. it eliminates the weak spot in the 7.5 rear which is the T-lok. the only weak spots after a stronger Diff is in will be the 28 spline axles or U-joints. you can also add a TA performance Girdle and bearing cap stud kit to help strengthen the 7.5. also welding the axle tubes to the case will also give some strength

thanks, i have the money(from the insurance comp. on my totaled 06 charger) just dont know where to start, im going to do bolt ons, then do 4.2, then after that im contemplating wither turbo/super, but definatly getting alchohol injection, my goal is to beat my friends Grand National, he took the old turbo out and put in a T-4, and has "alchohol injection" which is what im workin for, he runs low 11's but doesent have it stroked just stock motor with T-4 and alchy injec. he thinks he is a badass and thinks fords are ****, when i totaled me charger we made a bet i could make a six go faster so i started with a mustang, hope it works out. i have til the end of summer(August) then were going to take it to the 1/4 and battle it out. WANT TO SEE THE FORD own THE BIG BAD GN!
