Default tranny problem

ok so a friend of mine has an sn95 (cobra- but i dont think that matters) with a stick, im assuming they still used t-5's in 99. but anyway, he's saying he's having trouble moving the shifter sideways, the clutch seems to be fine. im thinking its the cold weather stiffening up the tranny. but im not quite sure, i drive an auto [:@]. i thought id ask around here

Default RE: tranny problem

He has a T-45 tranny, well if his clutch is fine, then he needs to check his shifter to make sure he doesn't have a bend or fracture in his stick, or a missing bolt, or just anything broken in general. He should also go to a shop and get his clutch fully inspected, just to be sure, but the problem should be comming from one of those two things.
