Best way is a 9" with 4.10 gears..or 3.73's if your skiddish on going with 4.10's.

if it already has a 7.5 just stick with that and add a detroit Truetrac Limited slip differential,4.10's and TA performance rear girdle. you can get everything you need from the link below
http://www.drivetrainspecialists.com...duct-5407.html

the 7.5 is plenty strong for that power level. it's only real weak spot is the stock open differential and the Ford T-lok. both ford open and T-lok diffs have small spyders that like to loose teeth like a 6yrs old kid. replaced with a Detroit truetrac,Det Locker, or Auburn Pro series LSD and it will handle about the same levels of power that the 8.8 will handle with a similar setup.

the only advantage the 8.8 has is that you can get 31 spline axles for it and the 7.5 you are stuck with 28 spline axles which are sufficient for 350HP.

the 7.5 is also about 45lbs lighter than an 8.8 all of which is dead weight or unsprung weight which is usless for weight transfer in launching

a 9" is really overkill for those powerlevels and is about 120lbs heavier than a 7.5
