Chips
Screw the chips, most of them come with only one or two written tunes on them, and you can't retune them or reset a parimeter if you don't like a setting. Get a hand held tuner, you can do way more with that, and you'll be much happier. Just to let you know, if you get one PM me for some setting advice if you get a Diablo, and you'll get roughly 10hp out of your car, now if you take it to a local shop you'll be able to get 20+hp out of her.

Sorry mustangman, but a professional will be able to get at least 15-20hp out of your engine with the right meters, but if they could upload an ugrade of some sort to allow them to fully remap your ecu, then you could see anywhere between 25-50hp, but this is a professional upgrade that only racers do, but who knows, maybe some shop could do it for an everydayer, but I highly doubt they would. Don't underestimate the power of modifying your ecu, your engine has a lot of power stock, but the stock ecu really hampers its performance abilities none the less when you start to do mods.
oh bull, jthorne. there's no way they're going to get 20-25RWHP out of a chip with a near stock N/A v6. they gave me the choice way back in the day when i got my gears. they'd custom burn a chip for me for the calibration and give me an extra 6 (yes, 6RWHP), but i'd have to run premium gas.
