My car rolls forward on a flat surface, such as my driveway, immediately after taking my foot off the brake pedal after it has been placed in park.

mine does that in my driveway, too...even a very small slope will cause it to do that. all the automatic vehicles I've ever driven do that...so I don't think it's anything you need to worry about.

We have 3 other automatics in the driveway, Honda Accord, F-250 and a Ford Mustang GT. None of those cars do that so there is something that needs adjusting.

Hmm, no they don't park in the same place as I do. I haven't been driving it around very much since the purchase because I have been working on it. I'll try a different location. I can't imagine it being any different, but I'll give it a shot. Thanks.

all automatics do that, well everyone i had. they all roll after stopping to catch a stop in the tranny. it has to roll into like a locking gear. ebrake will stop that.

just use the emergency brake if it bothers you that much. its not even a big deal anyway.

youre probably putting the tranny in park before you come to a COMPLETE stop.
no, it still happens even if you are stopped.
AR is right cause mine only does that when I stop and hop out of the car

Maybe I wouldn't worry about it so much if somebody would take the time to explain what was happening. Isn't that what this section is for?

They have explained it...what's happening is that it rolls until it hits the locking mechanism (a pin I think?).
