Im taking off the side panels on my 98 stang, any help. I dont want to break anything or get stuff rattling after Im done. I need to run some wires and install something I made which needs the side panels taken off. Thanks guys
we just had a door panel thread, look back a page or two or something if thats it...if its the one by the rear seats then we can help too...gotta be more specific.
you have to pull off the door bezel (where the switches are) that just pulls out....pull it out slowly so you don't break the slots on the ends (they are known for easily breaking) then you take off the door switches (screws) and you will see 2 screws holding the door panel up...take those out. Then basically the rest are pop outs and you lift the panel straight UP (to get the door lock stick off) and pull it off. Thats the basics.
Sry it took me awhile to reply. No im not talking about the door panels, i meant the side panels which are to your sides when your sitting in the back seat. I know I could do it myself but I would like to know if they are any fragile things cuz i tend to give the stang tough love when it comes to that stuff haha...
