Hey guys whats the best parameters for my 03 automatic, I have a CAI, true dual exhaust and Under drive pulleys, especially shift firmness, Thanks

Currently diablo tune with:

Removed speed limiters
Raised the RPM limiter to: 5700

Part throttle shift firmness 1-2 35 psi
Part throttle shift firmness 2-3 35 psi
Part throttle shift firmness 3-4 35psi

WOT throttle shift firmness 1-2 100 (this parameters go all the way to 220, diablo tune was at 80)
WOT throttle shift firmness 2-3 100
WOT throttle shift firmness 3-4 100

TO my homies with tuners maybe we should post our settings so we can compare!

Wouldn't this be best to send to where you got it (the TUNERS)?

The diablo Predator tuner is a handheld tuner allowing us to make custome changes to the settings, it like the SCT tuner, you modify it in the spot and then upload it to the car, the company Diablo explains what each settings do, but does not make recommendation for seeting so I'm looking for users who have use it too, thanks for the suggestion though

i thought the stock limiter was at 5800, highest ive had it up to is 5300, true redline is after 6k and is good to be up there because you will come down into the powerband better.

Here's my list, but take into account I have a 98, so some of my needs will be a hair bit different than yours, but this will give you a general idea.
Rev limit in drive 6500 rpms Rev limit in neutral 7200 rpms
Rpm in drive 1200 rpms for slighlty better off the line accelleration, Rpm in neutal 720 rpms, stock
Shift points are 4600 rpms across the board because the car really doesn't shift until 5000 rpms which is where my optimal shift point is, yours will be slightly higher, but the way you'll know if its set right is if when you shift does your car stay in the powerband, or does it fall out and take a second or two to accellerate back into the powerband, also when you shift do you feel as if your loosing speed because if you are then you need to lower your shift points.
Shift firmness is 30psi
WOT shift pressure is 120lbs
Advanced my spark advance 3%, but I will take it up to between 5-10% after I install my new wires from autobadges.com.
Don't mess with your fuel mixture because you could seriously screw up something, take it to a shop to get this properly set.

The Rev limiter on the car was originally 5500 or so i thought cuz i never saw go up higher than that, then the Diablo tune had it increased to 5600 so i turn it up a little to 5700. what you guys think?

Here's pretty much what I did.
Install Diablo's tune, reset rev limiters to 6250RPM, remove speed limiter, set trans pressure to 80 acrosss the board, Had a race shop remap the fuel injection(Need to have air/fuel meter and KNOW what you're doing here), upped the trans torque, etc....

Sorry to jump in on this thread, but when taking it to a shop to set the fuel/air, do you have to take it to a race shop or would any mechanic shop work. Also how much did you pay to have that done? And if I was to go get my car dynoed would they set up the settings there or is that a no?

Thanks,

Mike
