what size,brand,all that and how much do good ones usually run?....would tips off a gt take off exhaust sound aight?....i asked in the exhaust section but i dont think anyone is lookin up there

 

Why make your car look like another stock car...get some nice magnaflow tips or something.

I have 3.5" magnaflows on my car....looks sweet.

Tips aren't really going to change your exhaust note if thats what you were thinking about.....

 

i dont worry about exhaust, because well my car aint worth doing any exhaust mods... so i have yet to figure out how tips help your performance. unless when you say tips you mean the whole tailpipe from the muffler. i cant see widening the last 6" of the tailpipe by an inch will help with performance or sound.

 

Borla tips look wicked but cost a big price too

i thought they might add a little better sound but oh well,i just love how they look mostly especially since i just got a gt bumper with cutouts that im going to be painting before i get some tips..

Well, obviously its not a GT bumper, because 94-98 GT's have the same bumper as v6's only it says MUSTANG GT instead of just MUSTANG....what kind of bumper did you get that has cutouts?

bump, can anyone answer that for me? it sounds like a stupid question, but i dont really know a whole lot about exhaust, because well you know... the whole 4 banger deal.

 

i just bought pypes tips, i stayed regular and got like an angle cut 2.5' i dont like big tips or anything special
