I wrote a recent post about supercharging, now i think im leaning towards turbo for my car. What would you do if you had the choice of supercharging or turboing your stang, which system would you set up?

Hands down definetly a turbo. A turbo has a greater power potential than what a supercharger has. Take a look on www.tmaturbo.com for some turbo kits. Not to mention the turbo kits are a tad bit cheaper.

unless you plan on building your engine up to take advantage of a turbo's full potential, i wouldn't even waste the time and money on it. everyone wants to go with a turbo, but most don't realize how much time and money is involved in it. a supercharger you can put on in a day.

the guy from VMP is running 17 psi through a stock block, a supercharger especially a centrifical will be cheap and easy, but you dont make as much power, if you really want to go with a turbo, just make sure you do it right and have it profesionally installed

is that car his daily driver or does it get trailered to the track?

just because one guy's car can take that kind of punishment, doesn't mean everyone's can.

Dont you need to build up an engine to get all the potential out of a S/C too

yes, but it doesn't take as much fabrication or money to get a supercharger. nan is just saying how he thinks doing a turbo is only worthwhile if you're going to use it to its fullest potential.
