Has anyone taken off tints? I just took off my drivers side because when i bought the car it was pealing... so today i was bored enough to take it off and it was really easy with windex but then when I cleaned the window when it had no tint there was so much sticky shi* all over the window. I tried Film cleaner, Windex, Stoner window cleaner, and soap and water and nothing is cleaning it... has this happened to anyone [&o][

i would get tinit but i don't think it'll look right dark on a vert... maybe like between 25-35

I had to remove tint when I first bought my car. The tint had turned purple and looked horrible. I used straight up Ammonia. I used a spray bottle and soaked the glue let it sit for a few seconds and just scrubbed away with paper towels. It takes awhile and the fumes can get pretty bad but it eventually worked.

In Maryland the darkest you can go is 35% which I have on my Mustang and it is way to light for me. On the Vette I have 20% and I love it, don't think you will need to go darker than 20%.

Ya know what tint is the ****.....the tint that gets painted onto the windows! Don't have to worry about the **** peeling. My aunt had hers done, not sure the % and it looks great. Just don't get it done on a hot day if your A/C isn't the greatest because you cant roll your windows down for a couple days.

Are you asking for a death wish? Thats like MY windows on your windshield, you won't be able to see **** at night.
I think 5% looks ricey because its so damn dark, and stay away from windshield tint.....I don't know about where you are, but windshield tint is really illegal here.

Don't get me wrong I think a car looks good with a tinted windshield, but you are just asking for unwanted attention from the police if you do that. Its not worth it at all because you will not have it on long before the man is flashing his lights behind you.
