i mean right now is loud enogh 2 wake ppl out dont get me wrong but i heard louder than mine. mine is pretty smooth. is cool. just what i wanted

redo my research? ok, i'll have acer get his stang and get magnaflows put back on. he took them off cause they weren't loud enough. not to mention about 50 other GTs in the area with magnaflows. i guess maybe a 6 does something an 8 doesn't to make them louder.

don't listen to him. go with the flows like everyone else said. with odds like 10 people vs jthorn, i think you should go with the 10.

 

Well, maybe mags are quite on GTs while compared to other systems, but I've heard a nice deal of systems and out of all the systems I've heard, mags without cats seems to be the best setup, I would still love to hear a set of Borlas though.

 

mags are as loud as stock exhaust on a GT at idle or cruising. however, you'll definitely know it's not stock when you romp on the gas.

 

Now maybe it's because I converted to true duals, but mine has a very deep mellow tone in the low revs, not like a GT, but close enough, and keeps its deep tone all the way though. It sounds more like a high performance 8 then a six, but if you know anything about stangs you could easily tell it's a six because it has a even sound coming out the exhaust because of its even fire, a GT has a deffinite rumble in the upper revs, somthing no exhaust can create on a six. But even in the upper revs its keeps a fairly deep tone which is something I noticed Flowmasters don't do, but of an 8 Flowmasters just sound awesome.
