Default first dyno

Just had my first pulls at the dyno. It was not as good as I had thought it would be. my question is: Would I have been better off running with my lighter stock rims as opposed to my heavy a$$ cobra replicas?
Best pull: 166.10 hp, 190.85 torque, a/f 13.7.

why would the stock wheels matter if theyre not what you use daily?

well having less rotational mass probably would give you a little bit higher numbers, but it's really no big deal. just think of it as your way of "underrating" the power. the difference isnt gonna be that much anyway (if any)

The wheels should not affect your numbers at all. Those numbers seem very very low for those mods, do you have an auto? I don't think the guy knew exactly what he was doing, because I dynoed at 125 hp and 230lbs of torque, and I have a couple of less mods then you do and I have a much weaker engine, so somthing isn't quite adding up.

There are a few people with a lot fewer mods than you putting down about 15+ more hp and tq. I'd get your tune checked..... Something's not right.

Are you reffering to me or him on the tune thing, because the guys that tuned me asked me how many tunes I did or if I took her to a shop because I have my car tuned absolutly perfecly and I said no, I just wasted about 4 hours of my life sitting down tinkering with the ecu and then running the car, feeling her reactions, then going back and moding the ecu. They said my air to fuel is perfect, my spark advance is perfect, my shift points and pressure is absolutly perfect, so to say none the least, my car is fairly quick for its hp rating, because I'm able to use it fully throught the powerband, as I keep my hp around 118-125 in the wot, and my shifts keep the car perfectly in the powerband. So to say none the least, she's slow, but she's running at maximum effeciency for the street, or in other words, I am able to use all of my hp, and keep it there throughout the powerband.[8D]

Every dyno is different. There isnt a single dyno that will give you accurate numbers, theyre only truly good for tuning and compairing your numbers/curves to your previous runs.

Yea they are different, but each run is very close to the last, it's not like you're looking at an influx of 10-15hp, maybe 5 hp at best, so that influx is so minute that it isn't accounted for, so you tune your car to the adverage, but either way, you can still feel what your car should be doing.
