Default body kit opinion

I went to my local body shop and just to get the rocker panels(side skirts) installed is an extra 800. I know its BS. Something about how it's difficult on mustangs. Anyways I was wondering if any of you would think just a custom front and rear bumper (stock side skirts) would look lame. Has anyone ever seen a stang with just a front bumper or just a front and rear? Any help is appreciated thanks!

Its gonna depend on what type of body kit you get. If you get a mean agressive looking front and rear bumper then yes your sidskirts are going to look horrible. If, however, you get a front and rear bumper that dont change the car dramatically then you might be able to pull it off. Personally I'd just do it myself and save $$$$.

there not even screws. There those little plastic christmas tree looking things with a flat piece of plastic on the end that the sideskirt goes on. Once you get all the little trees into the frame of the car the sideskirt will just slide on them. (granted you might have to work a little but a 12 year old could do it)

I finnaly decided what I am going to do. I'm buying the cobra R front bumper and wing. On the real cobra I believe the side skirts and rear bumper are the same as my mustang (02 V6). What do you guys think?

The cobra R front bumper is one thing but the wing is too much in my opinion.

putting the bumper on is real easy when i had my blackwidow bumper on it was ridiculously easy. the hardest part is taking the headlights out to undo some bolts underneath if i remember right and maybe aligning everything. there is no way i would pay someone 800 dollars for that i hope that includes painting everything. click on the link below and u can see my old bumper on my car but i took it off

I've seen people get the 03-04 cobra bumper and leave the rear the same, that looks fine because it looks pretty much stock.

Cobra R isn't bad, but if you use the car as a daily driver, it may cause some clearance issues.
