Default floating at high speed

when my 96 v6 gets up to about 100-110 whole car starts floating way too much for comfort. Anybody got any ideas on how I can fix this? Thanks.

Lower it, add a chin spoiler and a wing..NOT A PARK BENCH! Just a NORMAL Stang wing.

Yup!. Now lower it and get a chin spoiler. You probably have weak springs allowing it to float. Check the struts too. Push down HARD on the fender and let it go. It shouldn't bounce more than 2-3 times.

Its OK, but I've been close to 125 and I didn't have problems like that. You may be experiancing what I like to call, toping out, or lack of torque to continue pushing the car. Remember, you're only going to be able to go so fast with a stock ECU, but even with the rev limitator removed stangs tend to seriously loose accelleration at around 100 MPH, because it takes a long time for a lightly moded to stock V6 to top out because as your speed increases your hp and torque output will continue to decrease until you are pushing close to 0lbs or torque, but your fuel injectors will become overloaded before that happens, I guess you can say 14lb injectors is Fords little way of keeping the V6 tamed.

That's the first thing I noticed when I lowered mine. I can hit high speeds and feel like I'm on the road with great control.

Oh one more thing, lowering your car does help in increasing your top speed, because it reduces the drag the car has to overcome to accellerate, less drag=more availible torque.
