Default Clutch Replacement

Hi all, My daughter just bought a 1999 3.8L V6. The car is in almost showroom condition except that it's probably going to need a new clutch in a year or so. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestion as to what type of clutch I should put in it. She probabaly won't be doing any racing but her "old man" might occasionally. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah, and BTW I read somewhere about replacing the cable. It seems like a good idea since her clutch pedal sticks out a good bit past the brake pedal.
Thanks alot!

Advance Auto parts near my house has a Zoom clutch kit. Installed it on my bros V6 and felt smooth. Very nice clutch for cheap.
