First Car
I would say DON'T GET A FLOODED CAR. Even though you may not see any issues now, because it has been flooded issues could occure later AND it would be yours to fix. Pay the money and get a CARFAX on line. This wil tell you if there was anything else you don't know. If you are still intent on buying it then TAKE IT TO A GOOD MACHANIC and have them look it over from stem to stern/top to bottom. The automatic transmission was flooded but not replaced? The engine was flooded but not replaced? Carpet? Seats? Tires? Rearend? Gas tank? All the Bearings?..Does it start? Does it smoke/rattle/shake?

+1 There's probably more problems than what they may be telling you. v6 mustangs are a dime a dozen, you'll find another one.
don't get a car that has been in a flood, you can always have tons of electical problems because of it and it could cause your car to rust. May not happen now but probably will happen later, get an older fox body mustang, i personaly think they look better. More of a muscle look. Plus you could get a v8 version of it too. there are tons of performance parts and they are easy to work on.
