I know earlier i asked about a rear differential. I was wonderin even though i have an auto tranny i can still put on one correct??

 

transmission has nothing to do with differential choice.

it will work just fine

i have a detroit on my 98 auto now. i had a T-lok and wore out 2 sets of T-lok clutches. the Ford T-lok really isn't a good option if more power is on the menu

spend the extra money for the Detroit and you will never have to worry about the rear again
