more MAX speed!!!!
alright i had recently just purchased my 2000 v6. so far i have the cold air intake on it but still have alot more plans to improve it... but for right now... is there a way i can get my mustang to go faster than 115 mph... that makes me mad when i am racing and winning up until 115 mph then they cartch up due to the fact ricers can go faster than that... someone please help... if there isn't something simple i can do at least give me the lowest cost method....
Nope, tried that when I was stock, and it didn't work. A flash tuner will help, but only a little, you'll still need to do some mods to get a higher speed, but even then, your stock fuel injectors will only be able to handle so much due to your weight, but it's not impossible to push your car up and over 130mph with some decent mods, but to really get up there, you'll need to do some serious work.

Are you serioius? Injectors support HP levels not top speeds...... What the hell are you talking about? Either way, a stock mustang should be able to exceed 115 without the limiter.

my friends 2000 buick regal could only do 108, he got it dyno'ed and had them take the governer off, and the fastest i have been with him going was 134, and thats a 3900 lb car, so a lighter mustang without the governer can easily hit 140....
btw, the buick wasnt struggleing THAT hard to hit 134, his valentine one just spiked a hard signal so we shut it down .

A stock V6 will not hit 140 unless it is dropped off a cliff. It is a matter of HP vs wind resistance, and the mustang is not the most aerodynamic vehicle ever produced. My highly modified 3.8 would not hit 140 unless I was going downhill, they do not have the power to overcome the wind.
You are doing good to hit 135 in a stock 00 V6 with a flash tune.
