I didn't catch too much **** for the V6 I had. A Mustang is a Mustang, like 06mustgt said. I just got the V8 cause I wanted a 5 speed so I figured "Why not upgrade?"

 

I got alot of hate from my old friends in HS last year when I first bought my car... most of the hate was for buying a broken car...(still is broke[:@]) and the rest was for buying a sixer.... but hell, its my car and I do what I want with my money... the body is in better shape than any V8 car would be at its age, and well, t-tops are hard to find... and gas is expensive


plus, they dont like it, they dont have to ride in it

i also get crap for it being teal and having a white top, but i dare you to find another teal mustang convertible with black bullit rims! you just cant!

 

I get crap from people that don't have cars all the time, which is stupid. They all are liek "dude, your car is slow as hell" and I jsut smile and say "wheres your car. lets race and find out" usually thats enough to shut them up because they dont' have a car, and if they keep saying it, I say "when you get your car, we'll race, and if you win, you can talk ****, but not until then."

of course, if I decide to mod my mustang like crazy and get it up to 400rwhp, that would shut up the GT guys who rag on me (not on here, but in the real world).

Your car looks great man! But this is the exact reason why im getting a older camaro with a 350, to shut em up and blow the doors off mommy and daddys Audis and what not. My summer plans have left me V6less and 5k richer for a engine thats more power and its time to put a *** load of horses in there and show em what ive got lol.
