Your car has an on board "learning computer" which adapts to your driving style. For example if you always floor your car when you are already moving (I dont know why you would always but w/e) your car will set itself up to be ready to downshift even if you dont go anywhere near WOT. It actually mentions this in the cars manual. You can reset it by disconnecting your battery, then your car has to learn how you drive all over again.

i think u can take him but def do what mustang man said but ur first shift from D to 2 shift at about 4600 rpms instead of 5300
